I have been going to Synergy Medical Center since the end of last year. I have a herniated disc in my lower back. One weekend it was really bothering me. My husband remembered getting a newspaper flyer from Synergy in the mail and he had read in it that they help with back problems. I called them on Monday and they told me to come in that afternoon for a consultation. I came in for the consultation. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and caring. It really made you feel good.
I have been using the dry hydrotherapy (if you’ve never experienced this, it is heaven). I have gotten an injection in my lower back and have had several spot injections in my back. I get chiropractic adjustments as well.
I had mentioned to them about problems with my knees for torn meniscus as well. They did x-rays and then suggested Supartz. I had surgery on both knees in 2008 and the left knee (last surgery, August 2008) was still giving me a lot of pain, over a year later. They got me approved for Supartz injection therapy (1 injection a week for 5 weeks). It’s truly amazing…. I thought there was no hope for my knee. I’ve had 4 injections so far and my knee is really feeling good now. I’ve been able to resume my walking everyday with no pain.
I’ve also been seeing the physical therapist and that has also helped in this process. I’ve had problems sleeping for years. Since coming to Synergy, I am sleeping a lot better too.
I would recommend Synergy to anyone and everyone. I truly appreciate what they have been able to do for me.

During a visit to Synergy Medical for an ankle ligament sprain Dr. Park discovered an irregular heart beat (atrial fibrillation) and recommended EKG confirmation. A subsequent EKG confirmed an atrial fibrillation which led to an echo-cardiogram, which in turn led to an arteriogram. The arteriogram reveled a 90% to 95% blockage in the lower anterior descending artery. Two stents were placed in this artery whithin a few days of Dr. Park’s diagnosis.
Left unattended this blockage represented a potential life threatening condition considering my past medical history.

I have been visiting Synergy Medical Center for several months and wanted to share my experiences with you. From the time I first visited the facility, I was made to feel welcome and comfortable. I met with the specialists in each area and was comfortable with all.
I was having some pain in my lower back and neck and also suffering from chronic depression. I take anti-depressants daily. I expected some relief for the back and neck pain, but did not anticipate any results regarding the depression.
Much to my surprise, I not only received relief from the pain, but also a lessening in the depression. I have lost several pounds since beginning the therapy and am much less depressed. Dr. Morris’s careful attention to my needs is a vital part of my treatment. He not only has seemingly taken a special interest in my health but was very caring and concerned with another troubling situation in my life. He referred me to someone who could possibly help me.
Quite frankly, I had always been a little skeptical of the use of chiropractics prior to my experience, but am now convinced of the value of this type of treatment. Many thanks to all the personnel at Synergy and may you have a fantastic new year. -Dotty P.
